TOP-PIPE_PPR_PIPE_SYSTEMS

TOP-PIPE supplies high quality PPR+ pipes using 100% virgin PPR raw material from only the world’s best suppliers. Our pipes are designed for use in areas of application where the pipe system has to meet high standards of durability and reliability.

For more than 30 years, Polypropylene Random Copolymer (PPR) has been applied successfully for hot and cold water applications in countries worldwide. The combination of properties such as resistance to internal pressure, flexibility and impact have made PPR the material of choice for a safe and reliable long-lasting installations. It is no wonder that PPR has been continuously replacing traditional materials like copper and galvanized steel over the last decades.

At TOP-PIPE we recognise the need for peace of mind when installing pipes within the wall,  therefore we ensure that our PPR pipes a produced to the highest standards so that you never have to worry about your piping system. It is for this reason that our pipes are grey in colour, so as to symbolise high quality and reliability.

For confidence, not compromise choose TOP-PIPE PPR+.

TOP PIPE PPR+ Piping systems are manufactured to ISO 15874 standards, and carry the KEBS mark of trusted quality and are available in diameters from 20mm up to 110mm, in either PN16 to PN20 pressure ranges.

PPR Pipe Features

The maximum sustained working temperature is up to 70ºC; the maximum transient temperature is up to 95ºC
PPR has low thermal conductivity (1/1500 time that of brass pipe; 1/250 times that of steel pipe) which means heat loss through the pipe is minimal.
With no heavy metals in its composition, PPR pipe does not get covered with dirt build up or get contaminated by bacteria. It also remains taste and odour neutral.
Since PPR has a high resistance to a number of chemicals, it is not affected by decay, corrosion or the transfer of dangerous chemicals.
Due to its flexible nature, PPR tends to dampen sound rather than carry it through its length.
PPR pipe is lightweight and easy to install, which can reduce installation costs by as much as 50% when compared to metal piping systems.
The smooth walls of PPR pipe and its corrosion resistance results in the pip having low friction loss and higher flow capacity compared to metal pipes.
PPR pipes have a life span of over 50 years under normal conditions.
Being a plastic material, PPR can be easily recycled. Its lower weight means is has a smaller carbon footprint as well.
